This started as a collection of loud, handheld and home made instruments to use at demonstrations, and has evolved into an idea of experimenting with the form of the music I make. At first I considered it an entity of it's own, but decided to work with it as a continuous project under the [sömn] name. I will think of it as a growing collection rather than an album. I don't know where this will end up. I'll put no stress on myself, and work with it whenever I have something to add.

The idea, at it's core, is to rely on acoustic sounds. No synths or distorted files. I'll try to keep the sounds I do record as unedited as possible (although cut and sampled). I'll still use some samples from film and TV, as well as field recordings.
